As a village-oriented apartment community, Tortuga wanted to offer residents a variety of unique courtyard environments to enjoy, while reflecting continuity in their aesthetics.
Design
We conceived a unified design for 5 courtyards, while adding touches of personality to keep each outdoor experience fresh for residents. The overall aesthetic aligned with the Moroccan beachside village theme of Tortuga.
Create
The final installation included an Olympic length pool positioned in front of a wavy-pattern tile wall, which boasted 3 metallic backlit turtles. Surrounding areas offer intimate seating, lounging cabanas, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen to allow for multiple simultaneous gatherings.
