The Meridian Apartments wanted landscape and relaxation areas for its residents to match the vibe of the surrounding Fondren area—a creative artist district supporting students, staff, and retirees.
Design
The area designated for new amenities was located on the 2nd floor over a parking area. Our design placed an emphasis on aesthetics to create an “oasis” as a natural and functional space nestled within the urban environment.
Create
The Haygood team designed a lap lane pool with a trellis and rain curtain feature, raised sunning ledge, gathering areas with outdoor TV’s, and a double sided fireplace with grill areas.
