As recent retirees with a new home, the owners wanted an outdoor space they could enjoy. They considered designing it themselves, but the steep hill that constituted their backyard presented challenges.
Design
Our design centered on converting their steeply sloped yard into a series of terraces connected with low steps in a gracefully curved path, which lead to circular patios defined by low, beautifully bricked retaining walls.
Create
To accentuate their golf course view, we added comfortable seating areas, a cozy fire pit, and updated landscaping and lighting to turn this simple backyard into the oasis the owners always dreamed of having.
